Hollywood interested in Mass Effect movie
While speaking with MTV, Bioware's Casey Hudson unveiled that there seems to be massive interested from Hollywood to making a movie based on the Mass Effect trilogy.
"Obviously we have a tremendous amount of interest from people in Hollywood to make a major motion picture about 'Mass Effect,'" he said. "The most important thing for us is, we don't just want to see a movie get made. We want to see a great movie get made, if it's going to get done at all."
Of course, this shouldn't really come as a surprise as Hollywood is interested in ANYTHING that might make them a buck or two so it's good that Bioware seems to be looking at all options and are totally in no rush to have some crappy movie adaptation of their games be released onto the big screen:"We're just looking at our options there, but waiting to make sure we have something really right before we do it."
We've seen plenty of crap movies based on videogames so we don't need another. IF there will be a Mass Effect movie, it would be best to take a decent look at who's going to do it and with what budget.In other news:
