And hilarious news from the other side of the ocean keeps buzzing in as Florence Cohen, 85 years old has sued Take Two after hearing about the Hot Coffee mod. She accuses Take Two for ‘false, misleading and deceptive practices’.

Cohen says she bought the game for her 14-year-old grandson when it was rated "M" -- for its unapologetically violent gameplay and adult themes -- and when she knew nothing of the "hot coffee" content.

Well, she bought a game filled with gang violence, killing cops and innocent bystanders but when her grandchild has the opportunity to see some polygon action, she’s shocked.

Truly and utterly unfathomable. Probably bullshit, but if it is true then it could only happen in America. I have never quite understood the huge gulf in acceptance of violence vs sex in the US. Can someone please explain it to me?

Granny didn't notice that it had an "M" rating until later and when she found out she had the game taken away from her Grandson. She then proceeded to play it herself, went to the GTA garage, d/l'd the Patrick mod, unlocked the minigame and was SHOCKED....i tell ya.....SHOCKED!!!!

Trust me, folks. . .Many of us in the US are just as enraged by this story as anyone else "on the outside looking in." Still though, opportunist geriatrics aside, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else. Besides maybe, just maybe, she'll fall from her soapbox and break her hip. Karma's funny like that, after all. (Then she can sue Proctor & Gamble and leave the gaming industry alone. . .heh. . .)
