I Am Alive still alive, but not on PC and digital only
Except for some ratings things have been extremely quiet regarding I Am Alive, but Ubisoft Entertainment has finally sent out some news about it.
They've released a new announcement trailer (see below) and sent out word that it's coming but in a different form than originally anticipated. What was actually confirmed to be a joke actually isn't a joke: the game will be released as download-only and that even only on console. The PC version has been completely scrapped along with a retail release.
The game still revolves around lots of choices in a post-apocalyptic world, surviving hostile environments, new ways of combat and it puts you in the role of a guy looking for his wife and daughter.

I Am Alive follows an everyman's journey to find his wife and daughter, who were lost during the Event.
A year later, he finds Haventon, his hometown, in shambles. Buildings are destroyed, toxic ash fills the streets, and society has been torn, causing inhabitants to take all necessary actions to survive.
Thanks to the emotional load, the game's supposed to give a new twist to a genre we already know very well. I Am Alive presents a unique take on the post-apocalyptic, survival genre by creating more complex and emotional situations for the player. Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network are the perfect platforms to leverage the mature and challenging experiences of the game.
