Insomniac: No interest in NGP

Insomniac, the well-known studio behind Resistance, Spyro and the Ratchet & Clank games, doesn't see themselves developing for Sony's upcoming NGP handheld anytime soon. They prefer focusing on PS3 and X360.

James Stevenson, community manager, said that they want to support Sony in the development of games but nothing more:

“it’s probably not something we would develop in-house.”

The Resistance game currently in development for the new handheld was outsourced to Playstation Move Heroes developer Nihilistic Software.

Insomniac is currently working on Resistance 3, Ratchet & Clank: All4One and a yet unannounced new IP for PS3 and X360 which will be published by EA Partners.
