Internet browser for Wii (temporary) free
The Wii will be blessed with the possibilities to surf the web and therefore appeals to software developer Opera. These guys made clear their browser for the console will be free, at least for those who want to use it before June 2007.
After that, you will have to pay some Wii-points, the 'currency' of the new Nintendo console, to be able to surf. How much the exact price will be isn't known yet.
Opera Software, the makers of the Wii's Web-surfing software, cleared that situation up a bit today with news that its browser for the system would be free for a limited time. Gamers will be able to download the Opera browser from the Wii Shop Channel free of charge until June 2007, the company announced today.
After that, you will have to pay some Wii-points, the 'currency' of the new Nintendo console, to be able to surf. How much the exact price will be isn't known yet.
