Massive Fallout
Announcing its earnings results for 2007, the company said it would be using the proceeds of the sale of the Fallout licence to help reboot the company with new titles, while it also seeks funding for an MMO based on the Fallout franchise.
Obtaining the licence back the company is now seeking funding to create a massively multiplayer game based on the Fallout brand, while working on sequels to Earthworm Jim, Dark Alliance, Descent and MDK
Quite a funny move. First the company sells its Fallout IP for $5.75 million (most of their net revenue last year) and now they want to get it back and in order to do that they're going to make sequels to other old series. Obtaining the licence back the company is now seeking funding to create a massively multiplayer game based on the Fallout brand, while working on sequels to Earthworm Jim, Dark Alliance, Descent and MDK
Doesn't look like they're planning quality releases but rather make some quick money in order to get going with the Fallout MMO...
