When Duke Nukem Forever was announced back in 1997, nobody thought it would take 3D Realm over 9 years to actually create the game. We were wrong, very...

But here's a little spark in the dark. Best Buy has placed DNF on its website along with a targeted release date of January 2nd 2007. It's available for $59.99 if you feel really lucky.

Join Duke on yet another wild shoot-'em-up, bolstered by his unique sense of humor

Enjoy enhanced interactivity and realism, more variety and a lot more fun

The chances of this being true, are very slim. Releasing a game after the holiday season without any marketing. But yes, there's always the hype. Let's keep those fingers crossed!

I can't believe you bought into this, Fragland. Duke Nukem Forever has been listed on gamestores since it was announced, they just update the dates each year. George Broussard have stated about thousand times that they will announce it when it's done.

Prey and Prey 2 is developed by Human Head Studios. 3D Realms haven't developed anything noteworthy in a long time.
