Itagaki working on DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2
In an interview with Japanese gaming mag, Famitsu, about the delay of Dead or Alive 4, producer Itagaki revealed some new bits of delicious info.
For one thing, the team is hard at work to release a patch in the near future that will refurbish the Dead or Alive 4 multiplayer mode so it will run smoother than ever. The patch will also feature some small updates to the interface. Unfortunately the patch will not introduce any new costumes. The company however, is planning on releasing more costumes in the future, but these will not be free-for-download. The patch is due for release somewhere mid February.
He further announces that he himself is heading up the Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2 team. As most of you may already know this title allows you to play a game of beach volleyball with the gorgeous babes from Dead or Alive. The game will also feature several extra mini-games, boutiques and other little trinkets, but the main part of the game naturally consists of the ritmic jumping up and down of the scarcely dressed females. DOA Xtreme Beach Volleyball 2 will be available for Xbox360.
Whether he will also be working on Ninja Gaiden 2 remains yet unknown as he kept tight-lipped about any other future projects. Our crew for one is anxiously awaiting a follow-up to one of the best action games ever.
