Posted on Tuesday, 5 August 2008 by Ryuken, source: Tacticular Cancer
According to this Akella product page of the turnbased, squadbased strategy game Jagged Alliance 3, the game won't be out before 2010(!).
That's still more than a year and a half away then, this date was first noticed back in June this year at the Bearpit community forum but since then there hasn't been an official response yet from the Western publisher Strategy First. The fact Jagged Alliance 3 hasn't been seen in the media in 2008 yet (unlike in 2007 were it was shown at E3 and the Leipzig Games Convention) can be regarded as another hint that it is far from finished.
Development of JA3 lies in the hands of the Russians at F3 Games, with both Akella and Strategy First responsible for publishing duties. It will use an advanced Silent Storm engine, and fan feedback is being integrated according to Strategy First (the latter sometimes aptly responding to fan worries).
