Jowood is toast

German news site Boerse-Express is reporting that Jowood is about to shut its doors forever.
Back in January, the company received a stay of execution by a Vienna court to find new investors, but the two investors that we the company's last hope have both pulled out and Jowood has now officially filed for bankruptcy.
The remaining assets will probably be sold to somewhat find money to fill up the huge debt that's present but the big question that remains now is what's going to happen to Dreamcatcher games which was acquired by Jowood back in 2007. Dreamcatcher has been working as the US arm of Jowood and has been releasing adventure games as well as distributing Jowood games across the Atlantic.
