Katherina Anna Kang Interview
We don't hear much of women in this male-driven industry, so it's always nice to see an interview with a women.
Domain of Games have had a talk with Katherina Anna Kang about the Gamers Documentary she's working on.[BLOCK]Anna Kang: Gamers takes a look at the world of Computer Gaming. It's an honest portrait of an industry that has become one of the most controversial yet compelling entertainment media of our time. From art, business, and code to the professionals and underground network of players, this documentary takes a peek at the gaming culture. We've gotten interviews from some of the top game developers of our generation and legendary gaming visionaries. We hope to shatter the myths of the gaming subculture and reveal the mysteries behind the fanaticism of video games - grinding out facts from fiction[/BLOCK]There's also another more funny quote (in my opinion) where she answers on the question who she would like to do a documentary on[BLOCK]Anna Kang: John Carmack. He's a mystery to a lot of people because he's incredibly introverted. Most people don't know what an amazing human being he is and would never guess that his generosity can only be equaled by his genius. He gives, knowledge and money, without ever hoping to get notoriety for it or even a "thank you". It's not altruism, it's just something that makes him happy - it's the right kind of selfishness... so rare, it's priceless. I do hope he'll allow me to do a documentary about him someday, but I want to prove myself as a worthy producer before I seek that honor.[/BLOCK]I guess John Carmack is some kind of Einstein...
