Kinect: 10 million up to now
Microsoft has sent out word that Kinect, the alternative control method for their Xbox360, has been sold 10 million times up to now.
For that reason, Guinness gave it the title of "fastest selling consumer-electronics" ever. In the sixty days between November 4th 2010 and January 3rd 2011 no less than 133.333 units a day got sold.

The sales figures here speak for themselves. According to independent research, no other consumer electronics device sold faster within a 60-day time span, which is an incredible achievement considering the strength of the sector.
