Kinect soon also for XNA

Posted on Wednesday, 24 November 2010 by Speed, source: joystiq
Kinect project director Alex Kipman has said that the new motion controller for the Xbox360 will soon offer support for indie developers of XNA.

This is what he said in an episode of The Talk of the Nation:
Although we do have, have had and will continue to have free tools that people can download – it’s called XNA Studio – which allows you to create applications that you can deploy to the Xbox 360 that you can actually do.

There’s no Kinect support through XNA today, but that’s something that we will support in the future.
He also added that nobody will get into trouble for using the open-source possibilities of Kinect. On the contrary even, they find the current stuff getting out there apparently pretty cool.
