King Kong resurrected?
In the alternative ending for Peter Jackson's King Kong: The Official Game of the Movie you may have caught a glimpse of what might have happened to King Kong if he wouldn't have fallen from the Empire State Building.
The film director now admits in an interview with Yahoo Video Games that there have been talks with Ubisoft, which owns the rights to produce sequels, and more specifically with Michel Ancel and his team of Ubisoft Montpellier:

The game's publisher UbiSoft has the rights to release sequel games and when asked, Jackson stated in the article, "I have been in discussions with Michel Ancel and the Montpellier team, but there is nothing to share at this point in time."
