Many rumours have circled the web concerning the launch of a new Final Fantasy game for GameCube. It is said that the new game will be a remake of FF7, FF8 and FF9.

Now, the Japanse magazine VJump shows us another point of view (check screen).

You can see the name Final Fantasy: Guilty Wing on the cover; the man on the background is Squall (from FF8).

Is this the new episode in the Final Fantasy saga or are all the these things just one big pack of lies? We will undoubtably know more on this year's E3 convention.

But that is not all there is to say. On the bottom of the cover two more things are written in Japanese:

Kingdom Hearts 2, PS2 - GCN

Final Fantasy: Advent Children, DVD

Final Fantasy: Advent Children is an upcoming movie about FF7's storyline but that's not that important.

More important is the fact that it mentions that Kingdom Hearts 2 is coming to GameCube and PlayStation 2.

The original Kingdom Hearts was a PS2-only game that gave you the possibility to play with several Disney-characters. The game sold over 2 million copies worldwide.

It could very well be that Square-Enix decided to bring KH2 to the two consoles, now that they and Nintendo are getting along fine again.
