Knights of the Nine for $9.99

Killerbetties had a Q&A with Bethesda's Pete Hines who states that the upcoming Knights of the Nine expansion for Oblivion will be available for only $9.99 on PC and Xbox360 (if you download it)

The retail version will be $19.99, and that includes all of the DLC released to date, including Knights of the Nine. To download just Knights of the Nine for PC/Xbox 360 is $9.99/800 points

The reason behind this small pricetag is that although KotN delivers 10-12 hours of gameplay, Bethesda doesn't see it as a full expansion but just downloadable content

Just to be clear, it's not an expansion pack. It adds another 10-20 hours of gameplay, but we still consider it more DLC...just really big DLC.

I think this was a smart move on Bethesda's part. I hate when you pay for a full-blown expansion and get limited content. However, they're marketing it more as just buying some bonus stuff, so props to them.

I like when companies release a bunch of extra content for free, like in the case of UT 2004 mega pack.

Yep, Epic owns. Charging for little to no content and having microtransactions is just greedy shit from companies like Bethesda, EA, and Microsoft, amongst others.
