Konami grows thanks to PS3 and PSP
Konami seems to be having a rather good year, despite not being able to get Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 taking over the lead in the soccer genre.
For the first half of its fiscal year 2010, the publisher posted net revenue of ¥115.8 billion ($1.43 billion) compared to last year’s ¥113.9 billion ($1.4 billion) for the same period.
Most interesting news is that the company's growth apparently is mainly thanks to the PS3 and the PSP:

Most interesting news is that the company's growth apparently is mainly thanks to the PS3 and the PSP:
Growth was attributed to sales of Winning Eleven/Pro Evo, Powerful Pro Baseball 2010, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Love Plus, with PS3 and PSP games accounting for 57 percent of profit thanks to the aforementioned titles. PS3 titles accounted for 29 percent of sales, PSP contributed 28 percent, while Wii software sales fell from 23 percent last year to 12 percent for the fiscal half, and DS software accounted for 14 percent of software sales compared to 21 percent last year. Xbox 360 sales for the firm were up 3 percent to 8 percent, compared to last year’s 5 percent.
