Kotick admits: this sucks

In the February 2010 issue of GameInformer Magazine, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick states that their previous Spider-Man games "sucked". Quite the honest guy, that Bobby.

"Our Spider-Man games have sucked for the last five years. They are bad games. They were poorly rated because they were bad games," Kotick said.

"We went away from what is Spider-Man. It's about web-slinging. If you don't do web-slinging, what is the fantasy of Spider-Man?"

Actually, previous games like Spider-man: Web of Shadows did have their portion of web-slinging, but Spider-Man is more than "just "web-slinging". Spider-Man is also known for good storylines with difficult choices to be made and great villains that really look awesome and pose a real threat to our favorite "web-slinging hero".
