L.A. Noire dev under investigation
The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) has said they're investigating Team Bondi with regards to unacceptable working conditions.
Last weekend several members of the studio made anonymous claims that working conditions at Team Bondi, and more specifically during development of L.A. Noire, were all but great.
A summary of some of the accusations:
Crunch weeks reached 110 hours Weekend work was always expected Management became aggressive and demanding when milestones weren't reached In three years of development 45 people got fired and left because they couldn't cope with the working conditions anymore One person did four jobs Studio head McNamara isolated himself from the rest of the studio Three hundred hour weeks were performed for a demo that was never released Over 100 staff members who worked on the game weren't credited The IGDA have confirmed they'll investigate the matter and have asked Team Bondi members to mail them with their comments:

A summary of some of the accusations:
“[But] certainly reports of 12-hour a day, lengthy crunch time, if true, are absolutely unacceptable and harmful to the individuals involved, the final product, and the industry as a whole,”
“We encourage any Team Bondi employee and/or family member to email
with comments about the recent past and current situation - positive or negative”
This isn't the first time a company in the gaming industry gets slammed for impossible working conditions. Earlier EA, Rockstar and Activision have also seen their fair share of comments on their working policies.“We encourage any Team Bondi employee and/or family member to email
