L.A. Noire not dead yet
Rockstar Games had a behind-closed doors presentation last week at GamesCom where most topics were about upcoming titles still to arrive in fiscal year 2009 including Red Dead Redemption, The Ballad of Gay Tony and Chinatown Wars for the PSP.
However, some words were dropped about L.A. Noire which is now confirmed to still be in development. No further details though...
L.A. Noire made its debut as a PS3 exclusive at E3 2006 but a year later Take2 announced that it would become multi-platform and be delayed until fiscal year 2009.
Who knows, maybe Rockstar still has a surprise up their sleeve and we'll suddenly see it appear on store shelves, but it sounds more and more to go the same way as Duke Nukem Forever. Luckily we've got some leaked concept art to fill our days:
