LBP 2 not 100% backwards compatible

Alex Evans from Media Molecule told British magazine Edge that LittleBigPlanet 2 will probably not be 100 backwards compatible with its predecessor.
According to Evans chances are that they won't succeed in completely porting all levels as some people used exploits to create them. Still the developers want to try:

“We may not get 100 percent backwards compatibility,” he said, “but I hope we do.”
He added: “It’s a really hard job to QA it, with millions of levels to get through. We might not succeed in all the exploits people have used.”
