LOTR: BFME2 demo hits Xbox Live today

Since yesterday, the owners of both an Xbox 360 and an Xbox Live account have been given the possibility to download the old classic arcade game "Frogger".

But the fun over at the Marketplace doesn't stop there. Today, the demo of The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-Earth II will be made available (or has been made available already) to download.

The game is clearly a port from the PC version, albeit slightly altered to fit the needs of the console gaming audience. Because RTS isn't the most obvious genre on consoles, EA will add a small tutorial to explain the control scheme.
