Lara Croft with the voice of Rachel Weisz

Tomb Raider Legend will be the next installment in the franchise featuring game hottie Lara Croft. Not only do the developers promise the good ol' gameplay from the first games (if it's still fun nowadays is yet to be seen), but they also contacted a huge movie star to provide the voice of Lara.

According to PSM by way of tombraiderchronicles.com, Rachel Weisz will be providing Lara Croft's voice in the upcoming Tomb Raider: Legend. Weisz (pronounced "Vice") has already earned graverobbing cred in her appearances in the films The Mummy and The Mummy Returns,

Healthy men like you and me know Rachel from The Mummy and its sequels and Enemy at the Gates. But now it's her job to offer those pathetic horny gamers the same ooh's and aah's that Lara did back in the days when she was crawling in narrow spaces. I'm kinda curious what will be the added value of this voice acting...
