Because of the financial support of the German government being dropped (thank you for that) there's a big chance this will be his last movie adaptation of a videogame.
After pearls like Alone in the Dark and Bloodrayne nobody will shed a tear for that, and he knows that too:
"After Far Cry, maybe I'll go away from videogame-based movies. And everybody can be really happy about it."
