Left 4 Dead 2 footage unveiled!

The first footage for Left 4 Dead 2 has now become available after Microsoft's press conference so of course the screenshots are taken from the Xbox360 version (probably less good than PC, but ok). Luckily we also get a pretty cool and véry bloody trailer:

Its only been 6 months since the original, its too soon for a new game when the current one is still starving for content. That last patch only brought the game to where it should have been on launch.

Unless theirs some other announcement they want to make in regard to this game, this blows and is a huge let down coming from Valve.

The fact that they would pull the plug on the original L4D so quick just to release what looks like a community mod with a few new maps is the complete opposite of what I would have expected from Valve.
