Left 4 Dead DLC detailed, release this Spring
Valve has formally announced the expected downloadable content for zombie shooter Left 4 Dead (PC, Xbox360).
Titled as the 'Survival Pack' this presumed freebie (on PC at least) contains two new Versus campaigns (probably just Versus versions of Dead Air and Death Toll) and a brand new game mode called Survival.
For those of you non-infected people there will also be a special Critic's Choice Edition of the game released in stores which will include the Survival Pack as well.
An SDK for PC will be made available too and the game's matchmaking system will fully support custom maps.
Most important is the release date which is a very vague Spring 2009. Valve has stated in the past that content updates for L4D will go live on all platforms simultaneously, so Xbox360 owners don't need to despair.
