Lich King expansion this year
With this, WoW will get its second expansion, where you'll visit some very cold places. You will be able to travel north to the continent of Northrend and fight the undead minions of the Lich King. Later on after several content patches you will be able to fight the undead ruler himself. So go and farm some warm clothing!
Blizzard hasn't released a date yet, and doesn't want to confirm nor deny the words of their publisher. Still they always said that they wanted to release one expansion a year.
