Lineage II player beats rival to death

MMO games have proven to have the ability to be quite addictive and lead to fanaticism beyond normal proportions. What Russia Today posted confirms this once again: and online quarrel between two guilds in Lineage II: The Chaotic Chronicles resulted in the death of one of the members.
After killing a character from one of the guilds, the Russians decided to fight it out in real life. The following fight in Moscow got out of hand and afterwards one member appeared deadly injured. Apparently there's no official complaint yet according to the press, but a 22 year old male seems to have confessed already.
Also, it looks like this isn't the only case of game-related violence in Russia:

Russia Today, the English-language service of the government-controlled state news agency RIA-Novosti, also mentions several other recent game-related acts of violence within Russia. A man from Moscow was reportedly recently beaten to death by a gamer from Ukraine in a similar situation of rivals meeting up, and a 20-year-old gamer killed his grandmother after she apparently announced it was time for dinner.
