Singer Duffy (you know, the one from Mercy) personally came announcing the karaoke game Lips for the Xbox360 at Microsoft's press conference. And of course she did that by... singing a song.
The game is being developed by iNiS who previously were responsible for the sublime Elite Beat Agents for the DS. You can expect it already this Christmas on store shelves, just in time to fill the cold winter days with howling cats and perfect to look for new candidates for a new "Idol".
It looks a bit like Singstar, but the microphones have movement sensors which makes that you can also use them as a tambourine.
Most important (and most promising) feature, however, is that you can use your own music collection in the game. Hook up your iPod or Zune and you're ready for hours of... myea.
