LittleBigPlanet boss finds controls to be 'annoying'

If there is one thing you can't accuse Media Molecule co-founder Mark Healey of it's dishonest advertising. In an interview with Eurogamer the man said in all honesty that there was still much work to do on LittleBigPlanet's controls. He mainly blames the '2.5D' movement in the game: "The Z [axis] movement is an incredibly hard thing for us to get right."
He also stated that it would be probable the control tuning would be done after the game will be released on October 24th.

"There's definitely room for improvement and we've got the channel to be able to do that as well," he said. "I'd really love to be able to do backflips and all kinds of things with my Sackboy, and there's no reason why we can't add that and refine that."

I hope for his sake that Sony Entertainment, the publisher, will be able to live with such dangerous quotes so close to an important release they have been taunting us with ever since the PS3 went on sale in Europe(!).

How exactly have Sony been taunting us with LittleBigPlanet ever since the PS3 went on sale when the PS3 was launched in 2006 and LittleBigPlanet wasn't even mentioned until mid 2007?

LBP was announced march 2007, before the console was launched in Europe that same month.
At the launch event one of the 'big' titles they showed was LBP. This is a Belgian (European) game site, not all of us look at the US as the centre of the world.
For me the PS3 didn't exist before march 2007 :p

The PS3 was launched 11th November 2006 in Japan. It doesnt matter that it was launched in the US and EU at a later date the fact remains that Sony have not been taunting anyone with LBP since the PS3 was launched because the launch of the PS3 was 5 months before LBP was ever mentioned and the article is wrong :P

They taunted the Europeans with it at the frigging launch event. All i remember about the 2006 launch was 'meh PS3' but when i saw that trailer on the Europe launch thing i thought 'hmm PS3, seems interesting' so it matters to me.
