Lose weight by gaming !
Publishers have seen what The Sims did for Electronic Arts. Up to this day, it is still the best selling game and most succesful franchise in the game industry. Why ? Because it appeals not only to real 'gamers' but to the whole so-called mass-market. The game is all about manipulation, and that's a major reason why it is played by so many women :)
Sony Playstation 2 has a similar kind of popular product in their range, the Eye Toy. It appeals to non-gamers and to children and young females that ordinarily wouldn't buy games.
And now Konami is releasing their Dance Dance Revolution Ultramix on the Xbox (end of February). To enhance the hype and create a buzz, we found this story in our mailbox that makes you want to say 'Oooooh'. Or go out, buy the game, play/dance and lose weight :)
