Lots of Guitar Hero content on Xbox Live

Red Octane is very enthusiastic about releasing Guitar Hero II on Xbox 360 and who wouldn't be? While they keep working on new games (RedOctane is now part of MTV, while Activision retains the Guitar Hero franchise), they also plan to use Xbox Live to its full extent. The game should be available in April.

"We're still in the process of confirming the final details and continue to secure more licenses, though nothing has been announced at this time, we can definitely say nobody will be disappointed. We are planning on having more online content than anyone has ever seen in a game to this date."

We can expect more online content, but undoubtedly also a lot of micropurchases. Rumour has it that the -not yet offcially confirmed- 80s Edition for PS2 will be placed on Xbox Live.
