Lots of updates from The Chronicles of Spellborn
There will be several adjustments regarding the graphics. For example a new font, adjustments to the bloom and fog levels and several new textures. You can find more information about this part here.
First, let’s talk about the floating names displayed on top of the characters. In some occurrences the names of the characters were unreadable because the shadow of the text was broken. Now the names are outlined and this “white” shadow isn’t shown anymore. See screenshot below:
A second addition are the so called "Menaces". These are much stronger opponents then their normal counterpart and can only be defeated in a group. They give some example of a sabretooth called “Big Mama” Molar, a Howler with the name Geer and several other naughty animals.
Because of these new monsters they will also add wanted boards which give out new quests to hunt them. More information about this new addition you can find here.
The wanted posters are scattered around the different maps and will also give you quests to rid the zones of the wandering Menaces.
There are two types of Wanted Posters:
The first one (on the right in the screenshot), is for animal menaces.
The second one (on the left) is for Humanoid menaces.

Finally they have also answered some questions from their Acclaim fans, the people who still got to wait a couple of months before they can play. A nice "exclusive" for them was a sneak peek at the market. Something which is called an Auction House in other MMORPGs.

The patch should be released in the beginning of February, but we can always hope that they'll give us more sneakpeeks until then :)
