LucasArts to end all internal development?

Despite the company stating last week that they "don't hate internal studios", rumours are flying around that LucasArts is stopping all internal development after the release of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Following word of routine terminations at developer LucasArts, a reliable source has informed Shacknews that the company plans to cease internal development and fire roughly 100 more employees after the completion of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

The question remains of course how "reliable" this source of Shacknews actually is. There aren't that many (big) succesful publishers out there that do without internal development.

On the other hand I guess one could ask what LucasArts' future ambitions are.
