Paul Fitzpatrick, The man behind the first review of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, shared some information of the game in an interview with Gamesradar. According to him the lenght of the game is around 29 hours before you reach the end of the game. For a MGS game this can be considered quite long.

The game feels like a real MGS game, where the sneaking is still the most viable option. The cutscènes would be one third of the playing time.
A major difference with the previous titles is a first-person view, which he finds a large step forward in these kind of games.

Metal Gear Solid 4 would still not be the perfect game, since the auto-aim has some issues and the game would start to lose its focus near the end of it.

Still the editor stays with his perfect score of 10 on 10. Reason for this is that it is the game as a whole that makes it perfect. A truly gripping story, interesting gameplay, many rewards and online play makes this game a classic. Especially because of the many surprised, MGS4 would become one of best games ever for many gamers.
