MGS4 not adapted for eventual X360 version

Lately, rumours go round about an eventual Xbox 360 version of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, but nothing has been confirmed so far. Ryan Payton of Konami assured the Playstation 3-users not to fear for an adapted version, in which the Xbox 360's disadvantages are taken in account. After all, the game is developed for PS3 hardware, but a port to Microsoft's console in the future doesn't seem entirely excluded just yet.

"I can tell you honestly at this point, we have not changed the game in any form with the idea of 'oh, we got to do this on 360.' Put aside whether or not we're developing for 360 or not, the game is built on the PS3 hardware, as you guys have known for the past two years or so,"
