MS and Paramount make download deal

Posted on Monday, 18 February 2008 by Zwan, source: Eurogamer
Microsoft announced a deal with Paramount to release new and older movies on Xbox Live Video Store.

In three weeks, Transformers, 1408 and Disturbia will be made available, just like 'classics' such as The Naked Gun.

"We're very excited to announce this new relationship," Paramount's Alex Carlos told [...].

"We have lots of great content that fits this demographic. We're excited about digital distribution, especially being on a platform as elegant as Xbox 360."
In Europe, but unfortunately not in the Low Countries, you can download Live Video Store movies since December, in standard- or high-def, for 3 and 4.56€ respectively. A downloaded film will remain on your HDD for two weeks, or 24h once you first watch it.

Downloads are the way of the future, . . . unless of coarse your going for that "I shop at Wallmart look, . hey see all my dvd cases in my living room?"
Move out of the trailer and into the 21 century,
