Mafia 2 Confirmed for X360 and PS3

Despite talks about a takeover of Take2 by EA are still ongoing, 2K Games is not sitting on its ass, waiting for the outcome. 2K Czech has announced that Mafia 2 will be released not only on PC but will also see the light of day on Microsoft's Xbox360 and Sony's PS3

2K Games officially confirmed that Mafia II would be released on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Previously, the game was slated for unspecified "next-generation platforms."

In related news, the game will be features in the May issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine where it is revealed that the game will have more than 50 vehicles and 10 square miles of unrestricted territory
