Mafia II dev axes 40

Take2 has confirmed that Mafia II developer 2K Czech (aka Illusion Softworks) has let around 40 people go. Just over 30 devs in the studio in Brno were sent home, while just under ten located in Prague have also seen their jobs terminated. In total this comes down to about a quarter of the entire staff.
Take2 has denied that this is related to a possible change of direction for 2K Czech:
