Machinimas are a kind of cartoon movies made by gamers / candidate directors. It contains gameplay images completed with dialogues, some sound- and visual effects and if everything goes well, a scenario.

X-fire and Blizzard clearly want to support this hobby (or is it an art already?), because they put up a competition to make machinimas with World of Warcraft and send them in. Participation is possible in three categories: dance, comedy or drama. There will be six winners from each categorie and there are also a lot of other prices.
