Mario's Epic Yarn coming up?
Takashi Ikegami, manager of HAL Laboratory, is so happy with how Kirby's Epic Yarn is going that he believes the "Yarn theme" has potential to be used in other franchises.
He even goes so far to say that even Mario could get a Yarn game:

"When I first saw them, I thought they were perfect for Kirby. I think there's a lot of potential for expanding this style to other series, like making a game called Mario's Epic Yarn. That's how well I thought the foundation had been laid, so I was really happy that from among all the characters available it was Kirby who was chosen."
Kirby's Epic Yarn has been released in the US and Japan already, and will also be released in Europe but we'll have to wait until next year for that to happen.And Mario's Epic Yarn? Yea, let's drain the cow, shall we?
