Mass Effect 2 will have fixed framerate
Bioware's Jesse Houston has confirmed that Mass Effect 2 will have a fixed framerate of 30FPS in order to prevent the weird pauses that you sometimes experienced in the first game.
Mass Effect 2 will be released on PC and Xbox360 next year.
“If you look at most good shooters, they lock down frame-rate at 30FPS: we’ve done the same thing. Bam. Everything’s 30FPS, streaming is fixed up,”
