Mass Effect is done
Recently, Mass Effect and its developer BioWare were bought by Electronic Arts (who else), but that doesn't stop Microsoft from proudly mentioning the game is finished, ready for mass production and a release end November.
The game will also get a Limited Collector's Edition with two booklets, one with artwork and the other about the setting of the game. You'll also get a DVD with plenty of documentaries about the development of the game, 18 Xbox Live gamers pics, 16 dashboard themes, 10 soundtrack songs and 600 conceptimages with additional commentary. A part of that is delivered to you beforehand on CD if you pre-order the game.
Be aware of the fact that this has not yet been confirmed for Europe.
Mass Effect is an Electronic Arts franchise now, but that isn't stopping Microsoft from pushing the sci-fi Xbox 360-exclusive role-playing game as a big part of its holiday lineup. Today Microsoft announced that not only has the game gone gold in preparation of its November 20 release date, but it will also receive a full-blown Limited Collector's Edition.
