Matrix Online not for Ubi Soft anymore
Over at Gamespydaily is word that Ubi Soft has no more interest in publishing The Matrix Online, Monolith's online rpg based on the popular movie series.
I wonder what Warner and Monolith will be going to do now as they'll have to find another publisher or do it themselves.

The company announced today that it would not be publishing Monolith's online adaption of the popular action film series after all. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will retain the rights and development will continue despite today's announcement. Rumors circulating the internet earlier this week alleged that a beta phase of some sort was about to get some juice, but how today's announcement affects that remains to be seen.
Well, one could say the MMORPG market is getting a bit crowded with all the games coming out and people can't KEEP paying for online play...I wonder what Warner and Monolith will be going to do now as they'll have to find another publisher or do it themselves.
