Medal of Honor 2 only when original sells 3 million
Posted on Saturday, 11 September 2010 by Speed, source: New York Times
Medal of Honor is without a doubt one of the top titles from Electronic Arts this year but those that thought a sequel would a certainty are wrong.
Executive producer Greg Goodrich told the New York Times that if less than 3 million copies got sold, he probably won't get the chance to make a sequel.
Another interesting thing is that the game almost got the subtitle "Anaconda", pointing towards a failed mission in Afghanistan. The consultants and veterans that took part in the war over there found it going a bridge too far and thought it would leave a bad taste in the mouth of soldiers still over there. That's also the reason why the game focuses more on authenticity and credibility rather than being correct and realistic.
As of October 15th you'll be able to help reaching those three million copies.
