Medal of Honor heading for October

Electronic Arts today announced that the Medal of Honor reboot is coming on October 12th, which is a delay of about two weeks compared to their release schedule announced last February. This would put the game a bit closer to the release of the competition with Activision getting Call of Duty: Black Ops on the shelves by November 9th as announced last week.

"Medal of Honor is an authentic look into today's war. Inspired by real people and real events, the game puts players in the boots of today's warrior---from the infantry ground pounder to the Tier 1 Operator,"
"We are proud of this piece because it offers a glimpse into the game we're creating, while also showing the mindset of these warriors." said executive producer Greg Goodrich in the announcement.

The single-player is being developed internally by EA Los Angeles while DICE is handling the multiplayer.
