Mercenaries 2 players will be very pleased to here that EA has decided to offer all players some free new downloadable content. This new content will hit the tubes of the internet on October 13th for Xbox 360 and a week later for PS3 owners.

This update, which is titled Total Payback, will add co-op functionality in all the regions and 6 new characters (including 2 new ladies). And for the lazy people among us, cheats will be added to unlock everything and to add unlimited ammo and unlimited health.

There is even more coming in November, but the content of that is still unclear. Also, that update will be probably a paying update.
