EA's boss wants tons of sequels suddenly

EA's head honcho John Riccitiello has confirmed we will be seeing more of Mercenaries.

"There will be a Mercenaries 3 and, if I have anything to do with it, there will be a Mercenaries 10," declared the outspoken executive

Didn't EA recently stated they wanted to go more towards original IP and less towards sequels?
