Mercenaries 3 in development?

EA Los Angeles is looking for an experienced multiplayer Level Designer to work on an unannounced third person shooter game with strong multiplayer focus.
More interesting is the fact that the game will be using the Frostbite 2 engine, the new engine that also makes the impressive Battlefield 3 shine.According to the latest rumours, the new game is a Mercenaries sequel. This apparently because the EA studio that took over the series when Pandemic Studios imploded is currently working on a yet unannounecd project.
Or will it be a new game based on Mirror's Edge? Nah, Mercenaries 3 it is.
