Mercenaries coming to handhelds?

In an interview with Eurogamer, Mercenaries 2 lead designer Scott Warner, hinted at the possibility of a Mercenaries game on the handhelds:

"At the moment we're only concentrating on the versions of the game we've announced, but I'd love for us to work on a handheld version of Mercs! Anything's possible!"

For now, the focus is still on Mercenaries 2: World in Flames. The game is expected to be released this winter en wil appear on PC, PS3, X360 and, yeah, PS2.
